However, this service is only exclusive to those who registered for UGAFODE mobile banking services. Here is how you can deposit money from mobile money to UGAFODE account.
How to Transfer Money from Mobile Money to UGAFODE Account
Follow the steps below to make a wallet to UGAFODE account;
1. Launch the dialer on your device.
2. Dial *230# and press the SEND button. Please be reminded that charges apply for using this USSD shortcode and use the registered phone number.
3. At this point, you will be prompted to enter UGAFODE Mobie pin number. Press the “YES” button or click on “REPLY“, key in the UGAFODE pin number then press the “OKAY” button to proceed.
4. Since you want to make a transaction connected to mobile, you should select a number that corresponds to the “Mobile Transfer” option (currently the Mobile Transfer option is number (2)).
5. Next, opt for option (1) which is “SAVE”.
6. Enter the mobile money number that you want to transfer money from or withdraw money from.
7. Key in the amount that you would like to send from your mobile wallet to UGAFODE account.
8. Thereafter, you will need to confirm transaction. Choose option 1(yes) to Confirm.
9. A notification requesting the customer to enter mobile money pin will pop up on the screen. Key in the correct mobile money pin. As soon as the funds transfer is authorized, the funds will be topped up in your UGAFODE account. The account holder can check UGAFODE account balance to affirm the deposit.
