Today am going to share with you how I managed to get my Payoneer MasterCard shipped from the UK straight to my address in Uganda.

First of all, Payoneer MasterCard account holders can send and receive funds into their bank account, Payoneer e-wallet, or onto a reloadable prepaid MasterCard debit card that can be used online or at points of sale. Payoneer is a registered Member Service Provider (MSP) of MasterCard Incorporated.
This article is going to show you a step-by-step process of how to register for Payoneer MasterCard and have it shipped to Uganda.

Why You Should Consider Applying for a Payoneer
If you have never used a Payoneer Mastercard before, then you probably didn’t know this.
Payoneer charges a flat fee of 30$ to activate your Payoneer prepaid card upon shipping. However, using our referral link will credit you an inertial bonus deposit of 25$ which you can count on during your card activation.

Requirements for getting a Payoneer MasterCard in Uganda include;
- A valid email account
- A government-issued ID ( this may be a national ID or passport ID )
- A shipping or P.O. Box address you have access to.
- A bank account
- Phone number
If you’ve all the above, then you’re set to continue.
How to apply and register for Payoneer MasterCard in Uganda.
Step 1: Sign Up using the link below (you’ll receive a 25$ bonus using my referral link ) Select Sign up and continue.

Fill in your details of the First name, Last name, email address, and Date of birth & continue to the next step. Remember the email address will always be used as your account username.
Step 2: You must enter your full street address. since most places in Uganda don’t have these addresses enter a valid P.O. Box address. This address will be used for shipping your Payoneer card from
Enter your phone number which will be used for future verification.
Step 3: In the next step, Enter your password. Remember your password should contain at least 7 characters and include at least one Latin alphabetic ( a-z ) and at least 1 numeric character (0-9). An example is something like “ugtechmag1994”
Next, select a security question that you can’t forget to answer since you may be asked to verify this security answer for account verification or to reset your password.
Enter your details for your national ID or passport in the following fields.
Step 4: In the last step of Registration, You have to supply Payoneer with your bank account details to allow them to always deposit your money to your bank account during the withdrawal process.
Enter the full name of the official bank account holder ( Latin characters only, no symbols allowed e.g Equity limited Uganda ) .
Next, enter the account name e.g Ug Tech Mag, and account number e.g 10000000000000
Lastly, fill in your bank’s swift/BIC code e.g. EQBLUGKA. If you don’t have a clue about what this means you can call your bank customer care for this information. Below are some of the swift codes of some banks in Uganda.

Next, read through the terms and conditions plus fees charge policy and select agree to all of them by selecting the radio buttons and submit.
Payoneer MasterCard will send you a confirmation email to your mailbox confirming that they have received your application.
Payoneer takes a maximum period of 3 days to approve your request. Once the request is approved, your Payoneer card is shipped to your address using mail between 14-21 days depending on your location.
I received my Payoneer card 21 days from the approval date.
Important points to note :
- Payoneer cards are completely free of charge.
- The approval process takes a maximum period of 3 days.
- If you use my referral link you’ll get 25$ on activating your account.
- Your Payoneer account is activated by entering your card number in the account.
- You can’t receive or send money before activating your account.
- Payoneer ships your card to the address you gave them.
- You can withdraw money from any ATM supported by MasterCard in Uganda
What next? I’ve received my Payoneer MasterCard.
Open the envelope and carefully pull out the MasterCard from the paper to which it is attached. Keep the Payoneer document safe because it has instructions for what to do if your card gets lost or damaged.
Now, login to your Payoneer account, and navigate to My Account >> Activate Card.
Enter your MasterCard number and enter a new 4-digit PIN code that you will use to withdraw cash from your local ATM.
Keep this Pin-Code saved on your computer or write it down On paper and put it in your safe. You can change the pin code anytime by logging into your account.
What is the fee for activating a Payoneer MasterCard?
Payoneer charges a yearly maintenance fee of $30. To activate your card, you’ll need to load some funds into your account.
However, If you signed up using our link above you’ll get $25 which can help settle part of the maintenance fee.
