Here is how you can register for UGAFODE mobile banking in Uganda.

UGAFODE Mobile Registration Requirements

The UGAFODE Mobile registration requirements differ according to status for instance already existing customers can easily access the service while aspiring customers need to first create a UGAFODE account and then proceed with registration.

For existing customers the requirements are listed below;

  • National ID
  • Valid Refugee Card.
  • Registered Phone number.
  • UGAFODE account number.

If you are an aspiring customer, you will need to first create a UGAFODE account and then proceed to add UGAFODE Mobile as an additional service. The requirements are listed below;

  • Identification-National ID, Refugee ID, Valid passport with a resident Visa
  • Account opening amount
  • A passport-size photo

How to Register for UGAFODE Mobile Banking in Uganda

To enroll for the UGAFODE Mobile, the customer will have to visit the nearest UGAFODE branch in their area. Check here for UGAFODE branch locations.

Go to the Customer care counter and request the agent to register you for UGAFODE mobile. The agent will inquire if you have all the requested requirements. If you do, the agent will give you the UGAFODE Mobile application form.

Fill in all the required information then attach a copy of your identity document to the form and hand it over to the Customer care agent.

Well, that’s all you have to do for now. The customer care agent will update your request in the system pending approval from the branch manager. As soon as the branch manager affirms the application, the customer will receive an SMS on their registered phone number detailing the One Time Password (OTP) and how to log in.

Upon receiving the SMS, dial *230# and press the call button, enter the OTP, and follow the prompts to make your preferred transaction.
