If you have registered for UGAFODE mobile, then you understand that you can easily make bank-to-wallet transfers and wallet-to-bank transfers. Now that you clearly know the possibility of the transfers, follow the procedures listed below to transfer money from the UGAFODE account to a mobile money account.
How to Transfer/Withdraw Money from UGAFODE Account to your Mobile Money
Follow the steps below to transfer money from UGAFODE bank to wallet;
1. Launch the dialer app on your device.
2. Dial *230# then press the “YES” button. (Caution: The account holder should use the registered phone number). Also, charges apply for using this USSD shortcode.
3. Next, you will be prompted to enter the UGAFODE Mobile pin number. Click on REPLY or press the OKay button, key in the UGAFODE pin and press the “SEND” button to proceed.
4. Choose a number that corresponds to the “Mobile Transfer” option (as of now, Mobile Transfer is option 6).
5. Since you are considering withdrawing money from your account to mobile, then you should select option 2, Withdraw.
6. There are two available options, you can withdraw to your phone number or to another number of your choice.
- Select option 1, if you’re withdrawing to your Phone Number.
- Choose option 2, when withdrawing to another number of your Choice then enter the recepient’s number.
7. Enter the amount that you want to withdraw.
8. Finally, you will be prompted to confirm funds withdrawal. Select option 1 “Yes” to confirm.
9. You will receive a confirmation text via SMS on your registered mobile phone number and just like that you will have transferred money from your account to your mobile wallet.
