Use USSD Shortcode to Buy Airtime from Airtel Money
1. Dial *185# and press the call button.
2. Select option 2, Airtime/Bundles.
3. Choose the option that corresponds with Airtime.
4. Select option 1, Buy for Self, or option 2 to Buy for Other.
5. If you have selected option 2, Buy for other, you will be prompted to enter the recipient’s Airtel number.
6. Enter the amount.
7. Then review and confirm transaction details.
8. Enter the 4 digits Airtel Mobile money pin.

How to Buy Airtime from Airtel Money via My Airtel App.
1. Download and install the My Airtel App on your device.
2. Launch the app.
3. Select the country as Uganda.
4. Enter the phone number registered on Airtel Money.
5. The main menu will load, click on Buy Airtime.
6. Enter the recipient’s number, you can also choose from the list of contacts by clicking on the phone book menu.
7. Tap on the Next button.
8. Enter the amount you are willing to top up.
9. Key in your email address then click Next to proceed.
10. Select currency as UGX from the drop-down menu.
11. Choose to recharge via Mobile Money and continue to buy yourself airtime from airtel money.
