This article explains how to check whether you are on the Uganda voter’s register online and proofread your details.

#1. Check your voter registration details via EC website

  • Firstly, open this Electoral Commission (EC) website HERE > https://www.ec.or.ug/search/byid/
  • Then enter your Voter Number (or) Application ID (or) National ID Number (NIN)
  • Thirdly; enter the Security Code
  • And finally; click the “Search” button.
    Wait to view results.

Requirements: Voter Number or Application ID or National ID number

#2. Check your voter registration details via SMS

Alternatively; you can now check your voter registration status or polling details via SMS by sending your Voter ID no./ National ID no. (NIN) TO 8228

Requirements:

After sending in your details, wait for a confirmation message with your voter’s information.
