Transfer Money from Stanbic Account to Mobile Money

Using Mobile banking:

Dial *290#
Select Instant money
Select Purchase voucher
Select Account Number to pay from
Enter voucher Amount
Enter beneficiaries cell phone number, starting with 256
The Instant Money purchase confirmation screen will be displayed
Select 1 to confirm transaction.
The recipient will receive a 13-digit voucher number and you (the sender) will receive a pin number which you will share with the recipient so that he can redeem the funds.

Using Online banking:

Login to Internet Banking and select ‘Payments’
Select ‘Purchase Instant Money Voucher’
Select the account you want to send from
Enter the amount you wish to send
Enter the recipient’s cellphone number
Enter the One Time Password sent to you by Stanbic Bank via SMS
Confirm the details for the Instant Money Voucher transaction, and finally confirm the payment.
The recipient will receive a 13-digit voucher number and you (the sender) will receive a pin number which you will share with the recipient so that he can redeem the funds.

How to Withdraw Money

Visit your nearest Stanbic Bank ATM
Select “Cardless Services”
Select “Language Option”
Select Instant Money
Enter your Cell Phone Number
Enter the 13-digit reference number that has been sent to your cellphone
Enter the 6-digit PIN code which issuer shared with you
Select “Yes” to confirm Instant Money Voucher transaction
The cash will be paid out to you (remember, only the full amount can be withdrawn) and remember to take your receipt.
