    What is Starlink Kenya?

    Starlink is a satellite internet constellation project developed and operated by SpaceX, the aerospace company founded by Elon Musk. The project aims to provide global internet coverage by deploying a large network of low Earth orbit (LEO) satellites.

    In Kenya, Starlink offers high-speed internet access to areas where traditional terrestrial internet infrastructure is limited or unavailable. The Starlink service relies on a constellation of small satellites orbiting the Earth, which communicate with ground stations and user terminals (also known as satellite dishes) to provide internet connectivity.

    How to Signup for Starlink Internet in Kenya

    1. Navigate to starlink.com.

    2. Then enter your address in the provided box and then hit the Order Now button.

    3. Once Starlink is available at the given address, you will see the quotation for the signup process.

    4. Go ahead to enter personal info and billing info then tap on PLACE ORDER. Your order will be shipped to your address within 2-3 weeks time.

    How Much Does it Cost to Install Starlink in Kenya?

    The total cost for Starlink installation amounts to KES 92,099.99. This includes a monthly subscription fee of KES 6500, a one-time hardware (StarLink dish, router, power cable and wall mount) purchase cost of KES 88,999.99, as well as additional charges for shipping and handling, totaling KES 3,100. The monthly subscription covers the service usage, while the hardware purchase provides all the necessary equipment for setup. Moreover, the shipping and handling fee ensures safe and efficient delivery of the components to the customer’s location.
