Why would you type and yet you can speak? Google Chrome enables you to voice search your queries for instant results on both the Google Chrome browser and Google app.
Steps towards enabling hands-free search in Google Chrome are easy to follow. Here is how;
Enable Voice Search in Google Chrome Web
Step 1: Launch Chrome
Go to your Chrome browser then launch a new tab in case you are redirected to a particular tab.
Step 2: Select Voice Command
Tap on the microphone icon on the right side of the search bar just below the Google logo.

Step 3: Speak Now
Upon tapping the microphone icon, a new screen with a larger microphone symbol will pop up prompting you to issue a voice search command/query. This is only possible if Chrome has access to your microphone. A new prompt requesting access to the microphone “Google.com wants to use your Microphone” message will pop up on the screen. Tap on Allow.

After the mic is set up, tap on the microphone icon and say your command/query. Ensure that you are loud enough and pronouncing the correct word. Google will instantly, type the word or sentence it has heard then straight up show search results.

Step: Start the Google App
Open the Google App on your device then launch a new tab.

Step 2: Tap the microphone
Tap on the microphone icon. Allow Google to access the microphone. After the mic is set up, tap on the microphone icon and say your command/query. Ensure that you are loud enough and pronouncing the correct word. Google will instantly, type the word or sentence it has heard then straight up show search results.
