This tutorial shows you how to check your Google search history on your computer, Android device, and iPhone/iPad.

With more than 70,000 Google searches every second, it is safe to assume that people rely heavily on Google for information. Any activity performed on any Google service like Google Seach, Google Maps, and YouTube is kept under the “My Google Activity.”

Since you have a history of all the websites you have visited and links that you have opened, you can always keep a trail of the information you would like to re-visit.

How to Check your Google Search History on Computer

1. Go to Google.com and sign in to your account.

2. Tap on “Data & Privacy” from the left navigation menu.

3. Under “History Settings” click on “My Activity.

4. A new page showing “My Google Activity” will pop.

5. Tap on “Filter by date or product” to organize your activity by date or time.

6. To view details about an item: At the bottom of the item, select Details. You’ll find the date and time of the activity and why it was saved. You might also get location, device, app information, and the delete option.

How to Check your Google Search History on Android

1. On your Android phone or tablet, open your device’s Settings app Google  Manage your Google Account.

2. Start the Google app on your Android device.

3. Tap on “Manage your Google Account.

4. Scroll to “History settings” then tap My Activity.

How to Check your Google Search History on iPhone/iPad

1. Launch the Gmail app on your iPhone or iPad.

2. At the top, tap Data & privacy.

3. Under “History settings,” tap My Activity.

4. View your activity:

  • Browse through your activity, organized by day and time.
  • At the top, use the search bar and filters to find specific activities.
