1. Navigate to the HELB Portal.
2. Click on account login then enter your email address and password.
3. After successfully logging in to your HELB Loan account, navigate to the Loan Reports section and choose the Disbursement option. This will allow you to access all the relevant information related to your HELB loan outstanding balance.
How to Check HELB Loan Balance via SMS
Create a new message in your SMS, then typed “JANEDOE” followed by a hash sign (#), and ID number. Once you have completed the message, send it to the number 5122. An example of how the message should be structured is as follows: “JANEDOE#12345678,” which should then be sent to 5122. A text message containing your balance will be sent to you.
Quick Note: To use both the SMS and USSD method to check your HELB loan balance, you must have registered your number. To register via SMS type and send REGISTER#ID No” to 5122 via SMS. e.g. (REGISTER#12345678). To register via USSD, *642#>Register>enter required details>PIN.
How to Check HELB Loan Balance via USSD
1. Dial *642# on your phone.
2. Tap on option 1, which is Log in then enter your PIN as prompted and press OK.
3. Select Loan Repayment.
4. On the next menu, select Loan Balance.
5. Upon completion of the process, a text message containing your remaining loan balance should be sent to you.
