Transfer funds Limit means the relevant minimum and maximum accumulated daily limit permitted by the Bank to make a transaction. Standard Chartered Bank has a standard daily transfer limit on all various transactions. However, the bank also provides customers with an option to adjust transfer limits to their limits. Here is how you can change Standard Chartered Funds transfer limits online in Uganda.

Change your Standard Chartered Funds Transfer Limits Online in Uganda
1. Go to Standard Chattered bank web portal https://www.sc.com/ug. Click on Login.

2. Opt for ‘Online Banking Login”
3. Key in your SC Mobile App login details ie; Username and Password, and click on Login. In case you have forgotten the credentials, click on ‘Forgot Username / Password’ and follow the prompts to reset your login credentials.
4. If this is the first time you are logging in to Online Banking via the web browser, you will be prompted to enter the One Time Password (OTP) sent to your mobile number.
5. Now that you have logged in to your online banking account, click on your Name Profile (top left).
6. Tap on “Change Funds Transfer Limits”.
7. Then update your preferred daily overall limit by indicating the amount in the column under “New Daily Limit”. You can input any amount up to the respective maximum overall limit indicated against each transfer type. For example, for Bill Payments, you can choose any amount up to a maximum of UGX 20M.
8. Review the changes before confirming acceptance.
9. In case you are increasing the limit, you will be required to input the One-Time Password (OTP) sent via SMS to your mobile number; and click ‘SUBMIT’ to complete the request
10. The limits are automatically updated and immediately available for utilization both via Online Banking and SC Mobile App (subject to sufficiency of funds on the account).
11. After completing any other transactions that you want to do, proceed to Logout.
