Just like it is possible to buy airtime from a mobile money account, it is also possible to buy airtime from your Equity account. This service is exclusive to only Equity mobile banking customers and each transaction will cost UGX 300. If you have not registered yet, register here. Here is how you can buy airtime from an Equity account to your Airtel or MTN number in Uganda.
Use USSD Code to Buy Airtime from Equity
1. Dial *247# and press the call button.
2. Enter your Mobile banking pin.
3. Select airtime top-up,
4. Choose to top up on your own phone number or another phone number.
5. Next, select the Equity account to purchase airtime from.
6. Enter the amount.
7. You will immediately receive a confirmation message.

Buy Airtime from Equity via the Eazy Banking App
1. Download and install the Eazzy banking app. It is available on Play Store and App Store.
2. Login with Mobile banking pin.
3. Tap on the + icon.
4. Click on Buy Airtime option.
5. Select telecom company. The service is available on Africell, Airtel and MTN.
6. Select the number from the contact list or click on the dial pad to enter the phone number you want to buy airtime for.
7. Enter Amount and click the Next button.
8. The transaction details will appear on the screen. Review them, if all is well click the Buy Airtime button to complete the transaction.
