Africell Uganda has changed its data bundle prices, revised its data charges and now offers them cheap and in bulk.
In the same energy, Africell also removed the Social Bundles seeing that the option no longer exists on Africell’s Data purchase menu (*133#). Indeed, Africell followed our earlier advice concerning these.

Africell Data Bundles Vs. Its competitors
Africell data bundles are now priced as one of the most affordable on the market, competing with the likes of MTN Uganda and Airtel Uganda.
Being that Africell has always declared itself as the King of the Bundles, it now really feels like it.
Price Comparison with competitors
As compared to MTN Uganda, Africell’s UGX 50,000 monthly bundle comes with a whopping 20GB with MTN Uganda lagging back with 10GB at the same price.
Airtel Uganda, however, stands in the same category with Africell, offering 20GB for only UGX 50,000. This implies that MTN Uganda has got to pull up its socks, lest trouble lies ahead for it.

Speed Comparison with Competitors
Africell Uganda has been known for its internet speed in most places it’s been tested. In particular areas of Uganda however, the signal reach for Africell has been poor. This cannot stop the now data bundles giant from beating its competitors in the areas where its reigning and giving value to its customers.
MTN Uganda has also received quite good remarks for its reliable connectivity, with varying but good speeds overall.
As compared to Airtel Uganda, whose internet connection speed has received a lot of complaints, Africell might win this battle. Anyways, the choice is to you the users, what do you have to say?

Conclusion
