Centenary mobile banking allows customers to conduct financial transactions 24/7 remotely using a mobile device such as a smartphone or tablet. After the service is activated, you will be able to check your balance, request mini statement, pay bills, and transfer funds anywhere in your comfort zone. The only requirement needed to get started is a Centenary bank account, if you do not have one, create an account online here. This is how you can register for centenary mobile banking in Uganda.

Register for Centenary Mobile Banking Online

Method 1: Register through Cente Mobile App

1. Download and install the Cente mobile app. It is available on Google Play Store (Androids) and App Store (IOS).

2. Open the app and click on the Register option.

3. Accept the terms and conditions.

4. Enter your account number, ATM card number, ATM card pin, and phone number then submit.

5. Then enter the OTP that has been sent to your phone.

6. Use the 4-digit Pin for login.

7. Enter the provided 6 digit activation code that will be sent via SMS then click Submit

Note: At the time of writing this article, this service has been put on hold. This could be different from when you’re trying out this guide.

Visit Centenary Bank Branch.

1. Go to any Centenary branch near you. Check the list here.

2. Visit the Customer care desk and inform them that you want to join Centenary mobile banking.

3. Fill in the Cente mobile registration form then hand it to the agent.

4. You will be connected to the services immediately.

Usually, with registering a centenary mobile banking account, it’s recommended to visit any of their nearest bank branches where you’ll be guided throughout activating your centenary mobile banking.
