How to Remove a Movie/Show From ‘Continue Watching’ Row on Netflix

Every time you start watching a movie or series on Netflix and stop without completing all the episodes/movie watch time, Netflix will keep information for you under the “Continue Watching” row on the home page. It is undeniable that the Netflix Continue Watching list is an incredible way to continue and pick up where you left off watching a movie or series. However, if you have been watching something that you did not like and yet it still appears under the “Continue Watching” row on your Netflix home page, you could choose to remove it from the row.

How to Remove a Movie From ‘Continue Watching’ Row on the Netflix App

Step 1: Open the Netflix app on your device.

Step 2: Select your Netflix profile.

Step 3: Go to the “Continue Watching ….” section.

Step 4: Spot the movie or show that you want to remove from the ‘Continue Watching’ Section then click on the three dots stacked vertically.

Step 5: Tap on “Remove from the row.” The movie or show will be removed in from the row. To undo changes, select the back arrow.

How to Remove a Netflix Movie From ‘Continue Watching’ Row on your Computer

Step 1: Start your web browser and go to Netflix.com.

Step 2: Sign in to your Netflix account.

Step 3: Select the Netflix profile.

Step 4: Scroll down to the “Continue Watching” row.

Step 5: Point the cursor on the movie/series that you want to remove from the row.

Step 6: Click on the cancel icon (X). From the pop-up menu, Netflix will want to know why you are removing the movie from the row. Select a reason from the listed options and the movie will be removed from the section.

How to Remove a Netflix Movie From ‘Continue Watching’ Row on your TV

Step 1: Go to Netflix on your TV.

Step 2: Sign in to your Netflix account.

Step 3: Select the Netflix profile.

Step 4: Scroll down to the “Continue Watching” row.

Step 5: Click on the movie/series that you want to remove from the row.

Step 6: On the left panel, scroll down and select “Remove from Continue Watching.”

Step 7: If you want to undo removal, click on undo. Press the back button on your remote to go back to the home page.
