This technique is known as Mac spoofing. MAC spoofing is a technique for changing a factory-assigned Media Access Control (MAC address) address of a network interface on a networked device. However, the MAC address that is hard-coded on a network interface controller (NIC) cannot be changed.
Mac Spoofing allows you to change the Physical Address of your router or computer through which you access the network, Even if you didn’t pay the bill, you can use someone else’s Mac address and still access the internet
At the end of this tutorial, you will be able to use Mac Spoofing to hack your ISP for free internet access and to bypass your ISP login page. Note that neither I nor the website shall be responsible for the damages caused on either you or your ISP.

You need to find someone else’s Mac address using the same network, then you will change your Mac address to theirs and you will be able to access the internet. This also helps you bypass your ISP’s login page if they require a user name and password. Note that this doesn’t work for PPPoE connection.
How to Find Other’s Mac Address?
The first thing is to find a suitable client whose Mac address you will use. It’s important that you use a direct connection through an ethernet and don’t use your router. Unplug the ethernet cable from your router’s hub and plug it into your laptop’s or computer’s ethernet port.
Once you have done that, you’re ready to search for a list of the connected clients. You will be able to see their IP address and Physical address.
You need some sort of software to get the entire list. You can either use Netcut, or Wireshark to complete this step. However, I think you will love Netcut which is super easy to use.
How to Use Netcut to Find Mac Address:
The reason I recommend Netcut over Wireshark is the fact that is it too simple to use. The first thing you need to do is downloading and installing this software. Once you have downloaded the setup file which is only 3mbs, you will need to install the software. It’s very simple and all you need to do is keep clicking next.
After you have installed Netcut, all you need to do is run the program. Then, just follow the later steps to find the Mac address of all the connected clients on your network.
Remember to choose your adapter which would be your ethernet adapter from the list so Netcut can find the clients on that particular network. Now, that’s how simple it really is to find someone else’s physical address
Time to Change Your Mac Address (Mac Spoofing)
You could change your Mac address by clicking a button in Netcut. But as well, i will show you a lot more other ways how you will do that. If you’re using a router mainly like most people, find the steps to follow below.
Changing your Mac address automatically using Netcut:
Once Netcut has scanned your network for the connected clients, you will find a large list. All you need to do is, choose any client you want and click on the button “Change Mac“.
This is going to bring up a window showing your current physical address and the new address that will be set. The only thing you need to do is click on “Change Mac”.
After doing that, your network adapter will once reset itself. But it’s recommended you manually restart the adapter by disabling it and then enabling it again.
Manual Mac changing.
The first time you need to do is select and copy down one of the Mac addresses you found. Now, follow the steps below.
- Open Network and Sharing Center.
- Go to Change Adapter Options.
- Right-click on your ethernet port’s adapter.
- Click on Properties.
- Click on Configure.
- Move to the Advanced tab.
- Look for “Local Address” or “Locally Administrated Address“.
- The default value would be “Not Present“.
- Check the upper circle and paste the Mac address you found.
The property names such as Locally Administered Address varies with different motherboard manufacturers. However, it’s similar and should mention the word ‘address‘. Now that you have to change your Mac address, you will be able to access the internet even if you don’t pay your pills.
That’s because someone else is paying for themselves and also paying for you. You just trick the system into thinking that the same person is using the network.
Changing Your Router’s Mac Address
It’s very simple and easy to change your router’s physical address and this varies with different router manufacturers.
Steps to follow.
Go to Your Routers Login Page, the login address is usually 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1, then login to your router using its user name and password which are usually both admin.
Under Network, there’s an option called “MAC Clone“. Just click on it and in the “WAN MAC Address“, type the client’s address you stole from Netcut.
Then, you click on “Save” and this will restart your router. If it does not work, manually restart your router. If one Mac address didn’t work, try another and see which gives you the best internet speed.
Issues you may face
This is the perfect and simple guide to get free internet using Mac Spoofing. Note that it is not legal and once found out about your activities, you might be jailed.
