Earlier this year, Safaricom’s MPESA partnered with PayPal. And because of this partnership, MPESA subscribers can officially withdraw money from their Pay Pal accounts linking the funds to their MPESA account. The article guides you on how to withdraw money from PayPal to MPesa.

Firstly, consider the process below.

  1. Ensure that you have a PayPal account.
  2. Visit paypal-mobilemoney.com/m-pesa.
  3. Then tap on log in option at the top right corner.
  4. Enter your log in details also agree to the terms and conditions of using the service.
  5. Then add M-Pesa phone number.

How to withdraw Money from PayPal to MPESA

  • Log into your account at paypal-mobilemoney.com/m-pesa.
  • Tap on the “Withdraw”.
  • Enter the amount you would like to withdraw from your PayPal account in USD.
  • A new page showing you the exchange rate and estimated transaction time will occur.
  • Confirm and complete the withdrawal of money.

Take Note:

3% conversion rate will be charged from your account.

It might take between 2 hours and 3 days for the money to appear on your MPESA account. The time is highly dependent on the amount withdrawn.
