Did you know that you can withdraw cash from the ATM without an ATM card? Well, Standard Chartered bank allows customers to go cardless and still withdraw money at any of their ATMs. First, initiate the transaction via the SC Mobile app to get a code. Insert the code then receive your cash. Here is how you can withdraw cash from a Standard Chartered ATM without an ATM card.

Withdraw Cash from Standard Chartered ATM without ATM Card

1. Log in to your SC Mobile app.

2. Select ‘Cardless Cash’ under the main menu.

3. Choose ‘Myself’ if you want to withdraw the cash yourself or choose ‘Third Party’ if you are sending the cash to someone else. 

4. For self-withdrawals, select the account to be debited, input the amount to be withdrawn (multiples of 10,000), and any remarks for your reference. Review the details before confirming the transaction 

  • For third-party withdrawals, input the mobile number of the beneficiary (or choose from the contacts in your phonebook); select the account to be debited, input the amount to be withdrawn (multiples of 10,000), and any remarks for your reference. Review the details before confirming the transaction. Input the One-Time Password (OTP) sent via SMS to your mobile number, and click ‘SUBMIT’ to complete the transaction. The voucher number will be sent automatically to the beneficiary’s mobile number via SMS. 

How to Cancel Transferred Funds

1. Go to the app and select the Cardless option. To view the status of the transaction, click on “Withdrawal Status”.

2. Transactions with status showing as Pending mean the Beneficiary has not yet withdrawn the cash. Pending transactions can be canceled, and the funds will automatically be credited back to the sender’s account. Also, the transaction is canceled automatically if the voucher expires or if 3 invalid attempts are made while trying to withdraw the cash at the ATM. The Completed status shows that the Beneficiary successfully withdrew cash from the ATM. 

3. To cancel a pending transaction, click on the dropdown arrow in order to expand the transaction details. 

4. Select ‘CANCEL WITHDRAWALS’ 

5. Confirm that you want to cancel the transaction by clicking on ‘Yes, Cancel it.’ 

6. The transaction will be canceled and funds will automatically reverse to the account.
