Step 1: Turn on your Android TV set
First things first, the TV set has to be turned on. Plug the Android TV cable into the power socket then press the power button on your remote to turn on the TV.
Step 2: Go to Android TV Settings App
Press the home button using your Android supplied remote for the home page to display. Navigate and select the ‘Settings‘ app.
Step 3: Select Device Preferences
Under General Settings, select ‘Device Preferences‘ and press ‘OK’ on your remote.
Step 4: Select ‘Reset”
Use the navigation key buttons to scroll down at the very bottom, then select ‘Reset‘ and press ‘OK’. On the new page, a notification will pop up warning you about the effects of resetting your Android TV. “Resetting will erase all data from your device’s internal storage, including your Google account, System and app data, settings, and downloaded apps.” If you approve, select ‘RESET‘ and press ‘OK’. The reset process will commence and the TV will reboot as soon as the process is complete.
NOTE: If asked to provide a password, enter the password for the Parental lock (Broadcast).
