Uber Air, is part of the popular Uber transport, the service was announced a few months ago in our country, Uganda. Uber jumped out of itself and announced free trips from Kampala to Jinja via air which kept Ugandans excited. Uber will be giving out free flight experiences. We all should be on the watch out. 2018 has had an air service announcement and launch in the name of Uber.

What happened with the first flight offer to Jinja, one would make a request using the Uber app, and if their request was successful, an Uber driver-partner would deliver the customer’s flight pass to their pick up point and take them to Kajjansi landing site where you then boarded their UberAIR flight to Jinja.

In September, Uber shortlisted five countries – India, Japan, Australia, Brazil, and France – and one of them will host the first Uber Air City outside of the US. Eric Allison, chief executive, Uber Aviation Program, illustrated that the 100-minute road journey from the city airport in the western suburbs to downtown Churchgate in south Mumbai can come down to 10 minutes using the futuristic service.
