According to Apple, Apple Watch’s battery life lasts 18 hours after an overnight charge, factoring in things like checking the time, receiving notifications, using apps, and doing a 60-minute workout.

However, since everyone uses the watch differently, the statistics might differ. In case you are in a moment of need to extend battery life, just turn on power reserve mode. Once the Apple Watch is set in the Power Reserve mode, your Apple Watch and iPhone won’t communicate, and you can’t access other watch features. In order to use your Watch features again, you will need to turn off Power Reserve mode on your Apple Watch.

How to Turn on Power Reserve Mode on your Apple Watch

1. Go to your Apple Watch home screen.

2. Next, swipe up on the watch face to open Control Center.

3. Once the Control center is launched, tap on the remaining battery percentage

4. On the battery screen, drag the Power Reserve slider to the right.

5. You will be urged to confirm whether you want to enable Power Reserve mode, tap “Proceed.” Your Apple Watch is now set in the Power reserve mode. The watch interface with change and you will be able to see the time feature. This is because battery Reserve mode turns off all Apple Watch features except the current real-time. Also in Power Reserve, your Apple Watch and iPhone won’t communicate.
