How to Transfer Money from DTB Account to your Mobile Money

The account-holder can either send money from their DTB account to mobile money via the USSD shortcode or DTB Uganda 24/7 app.

Use USSD Shortcode (*202#)

1. Dial *202# and press the send button.

2. Enter the mobile banking pin.

3. Select a number that corresponds to the “Move Money” option.

4. Choose a telecom network you want to send money through (MTN or Airtel).

5. Opt to either send money to your own number or another number.

6. If you have chosen another number, you will be prompted to enter the recipient’s number.

7. Enter the amount you want to transfer.

8. Select the account that you want to withdraw funds from.

9. Confirm withdrawal with mobile banking pin.

Use DTB Uganda 24/7 App

1. Launch the DTB Uganda 24/7 app on your device.

2. Click on Login then select to login with pin or fingerprint.

3. Enter the mobile banking pin or place your finger on the fingerprint sensor.

4. After successful login, the main menu will load.

5. Click on Transfers.

6. Tap on Send money to mobile money from the drop-down menu.

7. Choose a telecom network you want to send money through (MTN or Airtel).

8. Opt to either send money to your own number or another number.

9. If you have chosen another number, you will be prompted to enter the recipient’s number.

10. Enter the amount you want to transfer.

11. Select the account that you want to withdraw funds from.

12. Confirm withdrawal with mobile banking pin.
