Absa bank allows you to send money straight from your account to mobile money using Hello money services. So, in order to send money, you need to register and use Hello Money, then add beneficiary, and finally proceed to send the money. How to register and use Hello Money
- Dial *233#.
- Select Language(English or Swahili).
- Opt for the self registration option.
- Enter account number.
- Press 1 to accept Terms and Conditions.
- Enter date of birth details as requested.
- Then enter card number digits as requested.
- Enter debit card’s expiry date.
- Receive confirmation screen of successful registration.
- Temporary mobile banking pin will be sent to your device via SMS.

How to Add a Beneficiary
- Dial *233#.
- Enter PIN.
- Choose the ‘M-Wallet’ option from list.
- Opt for Funds Transfer to “Airtel Money” or “MTN Mobile Money”.
- Select if you are sending money to your own number or another number.
- Choose option 3: New Beneficiary.
- Select the Mobile Money Operator.
- Input beneficiary mobile number.
- Press 1 to confirm.

Transfer Money From Absa bank Account to Mobile Money
- Dial *233#.
- Select the ‘M-Wallet’ option from list.
- Choose Funds Transfer to “Airtel Money” or “MTN Mobile Money”.
- Then select if you are sending money to your own number or another number.
- Select if this is a one-off transfer or a transfer to an existing beneficiary.
- Input the customer mobile number.
- Enter the transaction amount.
- Select the account to be debited.
- Press 1 to confirm the transaction.
