Technology is a new sensation of the 21 st century. Cleansing old fashioned rhetoric with conversations on modern tech solutions has not only become a hobby to tech enthusiasts but also the only way of fixing potholes of ignorance with as much information as there is today.
Next week, from 21 st to 23 rd October, science and technology will be celebrated in The Women in Tech Web Design Workshop. This will be from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, as this will be the Kickstarter for the NEF Science Week.
This will happen At Makerere University, College of Computing and Information Science (COCIS).
What to expect for the Women in Tech Web Workshop
The participants shall have a thousand opportunities to replenish their knowledge pots with information on web-development fundamentals, web-flow and design thinking techniques.
The workshop will introduce the use of design thinking techniques such as wireframing in the development of technology products and services, a web-design tool that simplifies the use of HTML and CSS in building beautiful web interfaces through a visual design editor, content management system and website hosting solutions.
With a thousand connections to grab, it will be a time for the Women in Tech; students, technologists, and scientists to watch new generation tech models spread across the workshop days.
