The long-awaited Kampala Innovation week, Uganda’s largest event for tech startups and techpreneurs is here. The Kampala innovation week is set to happen from October 16th to 18th at Kololo Independence Grounds.
The Theme for the week is: Showcase, Discover, Engage.

This time around, the Kampala Innovation Week (KIW) is scheduled for 3 days. It aims to assemble all key players and stakeholders in the Startup Ecosystem to raise Uganda’s profile in the startup space, provide visibility to its startups, both locally & internationally and thereby attract investors and enable global partnerships.
The Kampala Innovation Week has built partnerships with Uganda’s top innovation hubs, and other key industry authorities and this has put this conference at the helm of attracting influencers in Tech, Innovation, Health, Finance, and Governance in Uganda and around the world.

What to expect for this Kampala Innovation Week 2019
This year’s Kampala Innovation Week has been set out into to ensure collaboration and establishing rapport between innovators and investors,
There will be:
Discover/Showcase Zone
There will be an Exhibition Space for startups to showcase their products.
The will also be a Pitching Competition
Conference + Masterclasses
Around 1000 visitors are expected to attend the event. There will also be 100 exhibitors of innovations and products. There will be 20 masterclasses fashioned to help startup owners and those hoping to build startups to understand the dynamics of Building, Growing and Scaling within a startup.
There is a list of professionals who will conduct these sessions.
Engage Zone
This will be after the event, where innovators will get a chance of Mentorship/Investor speed dating with Entrepreneurs.
There will also be coffee, tea and snacks, where everyone will engage and connect after the event.
