As it is a common behavior for Tecno to release various versions for the same model, it’s the same case for the Tecno Spark 3 which was released in two versions. The Tecno Spark 3 has two versions and the major distinction between these two is the amount of RAM, with one holding 1GB and the other holding 2GB.

Body Design and Display
The Tecno spark 3 and the spark 3 pro have almost the same body designs. Both phones have a great look at first glance, especially when you look at the luminous crystal back cover. Both phones have a notch display which houses the selfie camera, LED flash and earpiece. Something unique about the new notch display though is that it’s hideable and so you can choose to have it displayed or hidden.
Similar to theCamon 11 pro, both the spark 3 and spark 3 Pro have a 6.2-inch 720p display which Tecno calls the Super FullView display.
Camera
The low-end version Spark 3(1GB) has an 8MP selfie camera bundled with a LED flash and a 13MP rear camera at the back. On the other hand, the 2GB spark 3 and the spark 3 pro have the same 8MP for the selfie camera and a 13MP+2MP dual rear camera bundled with a quad LED flash at the back which a great advancement from the single rear camera of the low end spark 3.
Operating system
The low-end Spark 3 runs on Android 8.1(Go Edition). On the other hand, the other Spark 3 and the Spark 3 pro both run on Android 9(Pie) which is a major advancement from the low-end Spark 3 version.
Processor
The 1GB spark 3 processor clocks at a frequency of 1.3GHz with a MediaTek MT6580 Quad-core which means it can do 1,300,000,000 computations in a second. The other Spark 3 and the spark 3 pro have the same 2.0GHz MediaTek 6761 quad-core processor which means there are 2,000,000,000 computations in a second.
RAM and Internal Storage
As discussed earlier, the Tecno spark 3 has two versions, one of which has 1GB of RAM and the other 2GB of RAM similar to the Spark 3 pro. Both the Spark 3 versions hold internal storage of 16GB similar to most of the other Tecno phones. The spark 3 pro plays nicely on this one with 32GB enough for storing large media files. Fortunately, all these phones can have their storage extended by a micro SD card.
Battery
Both the phones are powered by the same 3500mAh battery which can spend a significant number hours up.
Network connectivity
Another major difference between these phones is network support. Both versions of the Tecno Spark 3 can only support up to 3G. The Tecno spark 3 pro however supports up to 4G LTE which is a major distinction from the spark 3 versions.
Security
As far as security is concerned, both phones utilize a fingerprint unlock which unlocks the phone in a fraction of seconds. Additionally to the fingerprint unlock, both phones utilize the AI technology in the selfie camera to implement face recognition which is a unique unlock feature.
