Silicon Valley
A series that films the life of tech entrepreneurs in the silicon valley in a much more comical and entertaining way. Silicon Valley is one of those movies that caught my attention from the very first episode. I couldn’t keep my laughter while watching every new scene of this movie, the movie was launched way back in April 2014 before I landed on it in early 2018.
The movie has got 5 seasons with the latest production( season 6) coming out this year 2019. I can’t wait to see what happens next to the struggling startup (pied piper) founded by Richard and his friends. What happened to Eric bachman, is he coming back? What happened to Hooli CEO? How is the new crypto venture by Richard going to take shape? If you have watched the movie, you probably know what am talking about.
Besides silicon valley being an entertaining tech drama, the movie brings out the lifestyle and hustles of tech entrepreneurs in the valley. You may not enjoy every scene of this movie but can surely learn one thing or the another.

This is yet another fascinating movie that grabbed my attention. Just to put your heart at rest, the movie tells a story of two students who dropped out of college and decided to form a startup around their great matching algorithm, I can’t deny that this movie gave me love to do something while at campus. Not forgetting I haven’t considered the idea of dropping out of university😂.
But nevertheless, the film takes you through the hustles these students go through to develop BRB app and also meeting venture capitalists. The trouble throughout acceleration and the turn down of the 50 million USD acquisition from their closest competitor who was also once their number one role model.
Unfortunately, the movie was terminated by Amazon after season 1. You’ll enjoy every journey of these teens as they act the movie in a more educative and comical way.
Halt and Catch Fire
Well, if am to rank movies according to the way of like, Halt and Catch Fire would possibly take the second position after silicon valley, wait and maybe after the social network😕, Oops sorry plus Jobs😂. I can’t really decide on this but you can drop in the comment section below which movie you think is which.
Halt and Catch Fire tells the story of the tech industry in the 80s which were comprised of computer machine inventions and the launch of the INTERNET. Companies like IBM are spoken about most of the time in this movie.
Rumors have it that some acts in this movie were filmed to represent the actual hustles of Steve Jobs and Stephen Gary Wozniak. The movies tell the conflict between inverters/builders and the marketers during that age.
Putting all that aside, Halt and Catch Fire was fun on my side, the movie lets you feel the tech hustles in the 80s. The movie was released way back on June 1, 2014, and has got 3 seasons which are straight to the point.

This is a documentary film about technology in the 80s, technology in the 80s was dominated by the inventions in computer machines and the internet and as such the story in this movie documents real stories of these events.
Triumph of Nerds had strong documentation of the PC industry, the woes between Steve Jobs and his co-founder and inventor Steve Gary commonly known as Wozniak. Details such as the struggle to create the first world’s graphical operating system are clearly documented in this movie.
