During this season, it’s imperative that you stay connected with the rest of the world, just to be in the loop about the extra threats and news on how the world is handling the COVID-19 scare. Well, that’s a rather undesirable obsession- to say the least, it might get you depressed if you don’t rest from it. MTN Uganda has worked out a plan to help you fulfill the requirements of keeping yourself up to speed, with the introduction of the MTN WakaNet.

What is MTN WakaNet?

It’s a solution to slow internet browsing, specially designed to help in the #workfromhome.

Before MTN introduced the WakaNet service, people sure browsed the internet from anywhere, including their homes, but with these bundles, internet browsing will be even much faster. This is to aid working from home, which has become the new routine ever since the Covid 19 virus led to the quarantine lifestyle which must be adapted by every Ugandan, not forgetting the hold in the transport system, which is no longer a good option for most Ugandans to carry themselves to their workplaces.

Working from home involves a myriad of activities you can do online, that you previously physically moved to get done. These include;

  • Entertainment like streaming Netflix,
  • Studying (you can now do e-learning)
  • Gaming
  • Watching sports online
  • Watching YouTube videos

Big ups to MTN Uganda for declaring their loyalty to their customers through such a generous offer. However, we’d like to see this service spread over to other parts of Uganda, as MTN users are “Everywhere You Go” like the MTN slogan says.
