Well, you might be accustomed to copying the contact from the Contacts app and pasting it into your WhatsApp chat. However, there is an easier way, that allows you to attach contact information within the Whatsapp application.
Sharing contacts on WhatsApp is a simple and convenient way to share contact information with others. The step-by-step guide below will show you how to send one contact or more than one contact to friends and family in your WhatsApp Chat. Here’s how to do it:
Step 1: Start the WhatsApp application on your phone then open the chat that you want to share the contact with.
Step 2: Tap on the plus icon on your iPhone or the paper clip icon on your Android phone to launch the chat settings.
Step 3: From the displayed menu options, select the “Contact” tab.

Step 4: Find the contact you want to share (you can also select groups). If you have a lot of contacts, you can use the search function to find the contacts quickly. Once you have found the contact, tap on their contact name. You can select up to 1,024 contacts. After that, tap the Next button in the top right corner.
Step 5: In the contact information screen, tap the checkmark next to any information you don’t want to share to deselect it.
Step 6: Click on the Send button in the upper right corner of the screen. The contact will be sent to the selected chat.
And that’s it! You’ve successfully shared a contact on WhatsApp. Remember, you can share multiple contacts at once by selecting multiple contacts in the Contacts tab (up to 1,024). Happy sharing!
