An Instavoice is a service that allows subscribers to record and send voice messages to other subscribers. If you think a text message would not communicate effectively, then you can choose to send the voice message instead. This service is similar to the voicemail feature and is available to only Uganda Telecom postpaid and prepaid subscribers. Here is how you can send a voice SMS on Uganda Telecom.

To send a voice SMS on Uganda Telecom;

  1. Open phone app.
  2. Dial *followed by the recipient’s phone number.
  3. You will be prompted to record a voice SMS.
  4. Press the yes button after recording the voice SMS.
