The platform was later expanded to an online marketplace to allow other sellers to sell products on the platform, and this brings us to today’s article which is to provide a step-by-step guide on how to sell products on Jumia Uganda.

Over the years Jumia has managed to establish an operation in various African countries and according to Wikipedia it currently operates in 14 of which Uganda is among,

You might have landed on this article in some way or the other but you still wondering why you really need a Jumia shop when you already make a couple of sales from your physical shop, or perhaps you can create your own e-commerce platform and start selling.

But here’s the thing, you might be making sales at your physical shop, but in business, sales are never enough. I mean you’ve heard about the saying “Never settle for less”, and this exactly right. Jumia offers a platform for you to market and sell your products. All you have to do is list them and sit back in relaxation.

Creating your own e-commerce platform is another option but this is not as it sounds because merely having a platform won’t bring sales. There are a lot more efforts required to push out a brand and this ranges from various advertising options including paid ads. Am not trying to discourage you, but at least you should what you’re getting into.
