With Gmail, you can compose your email and schedule it to send later at your convenient date and time. While you think you can schedule only a few emails, that’s wrong, you can have up to 100 scheduled emails.

How to Schedule an Email in Gmail

Step 1: Go to Gmail and sign in to your Gmail account.

Step 2: Tap on the Compose (pencil-like icon).

Step 3: Next, you will be prompted to enter the recipient’s email address, subject, and text.

Step 4: When using the mobile app, tap on the three dots in the right corner and select Schedule Send. If you are using the web version, tap on the drop-down menu next to the Send button and select Schedule Send.

Step 5: On the next pop-up menu, you will be presented with schedule options like tomorrow morning, this afternoon, and Monday morning. However, if those options do not suit your needs, you can go ahead and schedule a preferred date or time by selecting, Pick Date & Time then click on Schedule Send. That’s it.

How to View and Delete a Scheduled Email in Gmail

All sent emails are stored in the Sent folder and all Scheduled emails are stored in the Scheduled folder rather than the Sent folder as you might presume. Therefore, if you wish to view and delete a scheduled email in Gmail, follow the step-by-step guide below;

Step 1: Open Gmail.

Step 2: Tap on the hamburger menu in the top left corner and select Scheduled.

Step 3: Select the Scheduled email that you would like to view or delete.

Step 4: On the next page, you can view the details of the scheduled email.

Step 5: If you want to delete the email, click on Cancel Send. The scheduled email will be deleted.
