SafeBoda’s new application update could have some sleek features

While we were on the scroll, making our way through twitter’s Big data, we noticed a tweet from SafeBoda.

SafeBoda since May has been posting updates of a #ComingSoon application which may have quite some sleek features.

The application, however, is still under testing. A one Pius Enywaru, tech blogger and online influencer shared his experience after trying out the iOS beta version of the application. From his experience, he says that he shared suggestions and feedback. We hope to see some of these come to life in the upcoming update of the SafeBoda application.

Many online users as well shared what they wish to see in this new updated version of the application. Here are some of the ideas they suggested.

Online suggestions (Wishlist) of features to add to SafeBoda’s upcoming update

  • It will be possible for one to load credit on another person’s account. This was confirmed by Enywaru in a response tweet to an online suggestion.
  • A provision to order more than one boda for the same trip using one account. This shall not be seen in this coming update, Enywaru emphasized. He stated that he even suggested it to SafeBoda, but they said it shall be for the future.
  • An option for a local language, Luganda for example. Most of the riders aren’t that literate, to be honest just as some users, a Twitter user stated.
  • An option to add two contacts of the riders. “Some of us want to call them but some networks don’t favor us”, a Twitter user stated.
  • Including TEXTING on the application, for those who can’t call the riders, but need to interact with them.
  • Dark mode of the SafeBoda application.
  • An option for the application to rotate with the screen layout

Other crazy options suggested by SafeBoda’s users.

  • Ability to have the SafeBoda app on iPods since they also run on iOS.
  • An option of ending the ride, because sometimes the riders take ages to end ride pretending not to have a working network.
  • SafeBoda should also transport meals, a customer suggested.
  • Wifi helmets from the riders. Hahaha, let us leave to SafeBoda’s developers.

Conclusion

From what we have seen, the most desired feature is ordering more than 2 riders with one account. SafeBoda’s new update is one to look out for, keep around for a full review when the application is released.
