After successful registration, the customer will be able to check account balances, transfer funds, get a mini or full statement, pay utility bills, load airtime, purchase items both locally and internationally. Requirements for Post Bank’s Mobile phone Banking Registration

To be eligible for Post Bank’s Mobile banking, the customer must meet all the following requirements;

  1. A valid POSTBANK account.
  2. Valid identity.
  3. Mobile phone & or email address.
  4. Mobile telephone number.
  5. Must be ready to apply for the service at any POSTBANK branch.
  6. New POSTBANK customers will apply for Mobile phone banking or internet banking service during account opening.

How to Register for Post Bank Mobile Banking in Uganda

You can self-register for mobile banking or visit the nearest Post bank branch for guidance. Here is how you can apply for mobile banking via the Post bank app or by visiting any Post bank branch near you.

Apply via the Post Bank App

1. Download and install the Post Bank app on your device. The app is available on App Store and Play Store.

2. Launch the app then click Login.

3. Click the New User option for the Self-Registration page to load.

4. Enter all the required details including; account number, account name, mobile number identification type, ID number, and preferred Post bank branch.

5. Accept the terms and conditions then click the Submit button.

6. After the online submission of the application form, the Customer Care Officer will review and forward the documents to the Branch Manager who will then approve the customer’s enrollment for the mobile banking service.

7. The customer will get a pin sent to their phone within 24 hours via SMS.

8. Open the app again, then click on login and log in with the required details.

Register for Mobile Banking at Post Bank

1. Visit any Post Bank branch near you with all the requirements.

2. Go to the customer care desk and ask for a mobile banking application form.

3. Fill in all the required information including your identity details and account details.

4. Attach a photocopy of your national identification card to the mobile banking application form then submit the documents to the customer care officer.

5. After the submission of the application form and other required documents the Customer Care Officer will review and forward the documents to the Branch Manager who will then approve the customer’s enrollment for the mobile banking service.

6. The customer will get a pin sent to their phone within 24 hours via SMS.

7. Download and install the Post bank Uganda app on your device if you have a smartphone. Open the app, then click on login and log in with the required details.

8. Alternatively, you can use the USSD short code *263#/*263# to log in. However, you should use the mobile banking registered phone number to avoid errors.
