The M-sente platform provides subscribers with mobile financial services like sending money, withdrawing money, buying airtime, and paying utility bills. Since mobile money services are the new norm in Uganda, you need to get your sim registered for the services immediately. Here is how you can register for M-sente mobile money services.
Requirements for M-sente Account Registration
- National ID for Ugandans.
- Passport for foreigners.
- Refugee ID for refugees.
- Certificate of Incorporation for companies.
- Uganda Telecom sim card.

To Register For M-Sente Mobile Money Services;
1. Visit any of UTL’s designated outlets and UTL service centers countrywide.
2. Inform the M-sente agent that you want to enroll for M-sente account.
3. The agent will successfully register your sim for M-sente account free of charge.
4. Once you are registered the system sends you a welcome message with a default PIN. You are advised to change from default 4321 to a four-digit PIN of your choice through the My account & Change pin options in the Menu.
