To record and send a voice tweet,
Step 1: First open the Twitter app on your mobile device then tap the Tweet compose icon.
Step 2: Tap the voice icon.
Step 3: Once you tap on the Voice icon, a recording screen will appear. To continue, hit the record button-purple circle with a white microphone icon.
Step 4: Recording will commence immediately and this will be supported by a red dot at the top center. Go ahead and speak your mind. As you speak, a waveform will appear on the screen, showing the volume and pitch of your voice. If you want to take a break, tap the pause button below the waveform and tap it again to continue your voice recording. When you are done speaking, tap on the Done button at the top right corner to stop the recording.
Quick Note: If you are happy with your recording, you can preview it by tapping on the play button. If you want to make any changes, you can tap on the trash can icon to delete the recording and start over. Since voice tweets cannot be edited or deleted once they have been posted, so make sure you are happy with your recording before sending it out to the world.

Step 5: You have the option to add Tweet text and/or start a thread with multiple Tweets. You can record up to 2 minutes and 20 seconds for each individual voice Tweet. If your message is longer than that, it will be automatically threaded up to 25 Tweets.
Step 6: Once you are satisfied with your voice tweet, tap on the blue “Tweet” button to post it to your timeline. Your voice tweet will appear in your followers’ timelines just like any other tweet, but with a small play button next to it. Users can tap on this button to listen to your voice tweet.
