At the end of every month, Nation Water and Sewerage Cooperation in Uganda update its subscribers with receipts detailing water bills. In order to continue enjoying the services, you need to pay in time to avoid disconnection. Paying water bills is now simple thanks to the mobile money payment inclusion. Here is how you can pay water bills in Uganda.

Pay Water Bills Using MTN Mobile Money

This method guides you on how to pay water bill using MTN mobile money.

  • Dial *165#.
  • Select Payments from the menu.
  • Choose option 1, Utilities.
  • Select Pay NWSC.
  • Then Scroll throw to select your region.
  • Enter your Water Meter Number.
  • Then enter the Amount.
  • Confirm with your MTN mobile money pin. A confirmation message will be sent to you from NSWC and MTN Money via SMS.

Pay Water Bills Using Airtel Money

This method guides you on how to pay water bills using Airtel Money.

  • Dial *185# then press OK.
  • Select option 4, Pay Bill.
  • Under Pay Bill menu, choose option 2, Water.
  • Choose option 1, Pay NWSC.
  • Enter NWSC account number (meter number).
  • Then Scroll throw to select your region.
  • Then enter the Amount.
  • Read through the displayed account details and confirm with your MTN mobile money pin to complete payment.
  • A confirmation message will be sent to you from NSWC and MTN Money via SMS.
