What do you need?

Netflix accepts various payment methods depending on your region. Common options include credit or debit cards (linked to a processing network, such as Visa or Mastercard) and mobile money. We have a guide that shows you how to pay Netflix using Mobile Money. However, since MTN MoMo card and Airtel Money Card are unavailable at the moment, that method will not work.

Therefore, in this guide, we shall stick to using credit and debit cards that are linked to Visa or Mastercard. Most banks in Uganda, such as Equity Bank, Centenary Bank, Stanbic, Standard Chartered Bank, DFCU, ABSA, Bank of Baroda, and I&M Bank issue ATM cards that enable Visa and Mastercard online payments.

On each of those ATM cards, there is a 16-digit card number, expiry date, and 3-digit CVV on both sides of the card. Those are the details that you need.

As we proceed to the step where you get to make payment for your Netflix subscription, ensure that your card has sufficient funds. Also, you must have a Netflix account (you can create one here if don’t have it) and an active internet connection.
