To edit Word documents in Google Docs, Make sure you have signed in to your Google account.
On your browser, launch Google Docs (docs.google.com)
To open the file, tap the File button at the top left corner of your screen.
Choose Open.
A new window will open prompting you to select the preferred Upload Word document then click the open button or drag and drop the file from your computer to Google Docs.
The document will appear in your Drive once the upload is complete.
Select and open the imported document in the drive, it’ll open automatically in google docs.
Double click the document to open in Google Docs.
