There has been a rotation of message notifications (sent by telecom companies) inviting users who have their NINs registered under 2 lines to re-verify or visit telecom outlets to ensure that they verify these numbers.

This activity is particularly telecom specific, for example, in case one has 3 lines on MTN Uganda (as long as they are more than), they must by all means re-verify that indeed their national ID numbers (NIN) are registered under these lines and that they take full responsibility of the lines.

The deadline is on 14th April and if exceeded, the lines will be blocked off any telecom service.
