If you are a first time user, here is what you need.
- Registered Africell sim card
- Enough airtime to buy your desired Africell data bundle
- Access to the Africell web top-up portal here
- Signing up to use the Africell web top-up portal. We explain below how to sign up for the Africell web top-up portal.
Step-by-Step: Load Africell data via the web portal
NOTE: Ensure to sign up for the Africell web top-up portal. We have explained those guidelines below
- Enter your Africell number
- Then input your password (This will be sent after you sign up)
- On the next interface, you will be listed with data bundles you can buy
- Select the data bundle you want to buy, then scroll down and click on the Buy package button
- Immediately you click on the Buy package bundle, it will be loaded to your Africell sim card
If you forgot your Africell web portal password, click on the forgotten your password button, and a new password will be sent.

How to Sign up for the Africell web top-up portal
- Follow this link to the web top-up portal
- Input your Africell number and click on the Sign up button
- You will receive a web top-up password on your Africell sim card
- Use the password for logging into the web portal
Before when the scratch cards were available, you could also load Africell airtime via the web portal with the airtime scratch card. Currently, you cannot load Africell data via this web portal.
