a) MTN Tidal
TIDAL allows customers to get access to music with high sound quality, and high-quality music. Users can stream TIDAL Music from their smartphones. Tidal is similar to Spotify. They both offer music for streaming.
TIDAL and MTN partnered to bring music streaming to African customers. The partnership is providing MTN Uganda customers a variety of options for a data-inclusive TIDAL membership as part of their mobile plan to gain access to exclusive high-quality streaming music, videos, concerts, and more.
b) MTN TikTok bundles
TikTok is a fast-growing social media platform which offers users to post very short videos lasting 15 seconds to about 3 minutes and also users can view other users’ videos.
Whether you are a content creator or viewer who loves to binge-watch TikTok videos, the MTN TikTok bundle will give you 24 hours’ access to the app for only UGX.2000. You can enjoy as many videos as you want to range in genres like; dance, comedy, tech, skits, reactions, reviews, and education, which have a duration of up to three minutes.
c) PAY TV
MTN Uganda offers Ugandans the opportunity to pay for TV streaming bundles on both StarTimes and DSTV. The data is limited to be used on both companies’ streaming apps i.e. StarTimes App and DSTV Now mobile app from Multichoice.
For DSTV Now MTN bundles, Dial *165*82# and select option 1 to buy for self and option 2 to buy for another phone number.
To buy StarTimes bundles, customers dial *165*4*7#, and select option 1 for StarTimes bundles. Choose to buy for your own number or another and select from the available options for the data packages. Enter your mobile money PIN to check out the transaction and enjoy.
