There is no denying the impact that ChatGPT has made on the world. Its exceptional natural language processing abilities and concise replies have made it a popular topic on the internet. This AI-powered chatbot provides assistance and answers questions on a wide range of topics. For a very long time, Google has been playing the role accurately. However, there is no harm in adding ChatGPT to Google so you can compare notes between the AI and results from Google searches. To Add ChatGPT to Google
Step 1: Navigate to your browser and search for ChatGPT for Chrome.
Step 2: Once you are on the Chrome web store page, click on Add to Chrome to add ChatGPT for chrome as an extension to your search engine.
Step 3: You will be prompted to confirm the action in the next pop-up menu, click on Add to confirm. After confirmation, the extension will be added to your search engine. You will then be referred to a new tab where you can choose to customize the settings of ChatGPT for Google.
- Under Options, select the preferred Trigger Mode, theme, and language.
- On the same page, you can choose the AI provider then sign in. There are two listed options, ChatGPT web app, and OpenAI API.

Step 4: Go to the search engine and search for whatever you wish, you will see results from Google as usual and ChatGPT as well on the right side of the results page. If you aren’t signed in, you will see a prompt requiring you to do so in order to get results. Log in as prompted. The next time you perform a search activity, you will receive results from ChatGPT on the right side.
At one point, if you fill like you want to disintegrate ChatGPT from your search engine, click on the three dots located in the top right corner of the Chrome window and select “More tools” from the drop-down menu. Next, select “Extensions” from the sub-menu. This will bring up a list of all the extensions installed in Chrome. Find the extension you want to remove and click on the “Remove” button next to it. A confirmation pop-up will appear, asking you to confirm that you want to remove the extension. Click “Remove” to confirm, and the extension will be uninstalled from Chrome.
