How to verify your Adsense account in 2022

    1. Document Verification

To get started with Google Adsense, you’re required to submit some documents that prove your identity and nationality. To verify your identity, you have to provide either your government-issued national ID, international passport, or driver’s license. After uploading a photograph of one of the three, it should take under 48 hours to get accepted in normal circumstances.

    2. Account Physical Address

After getting the green light for document verification, you are left with verifying your address. Adsense needs your physical address to prove that you’re a real human, not an internet bot. Once you have put your correct address, Google will send a Personal Identification Number (PIN) to your location.

    3. Address PIN Verification

This is the final step to get verified so you can receive your funds ($100 and above) from Adsense. To complete this step, you have to wait for your PIN mail to arrive at your location which you can insert in your Adsense account and get verified. Remember that inserting a false PIN could nullify your account. If you don’t receive your account for three months, you should ask Google to resend the PIN.

How To Get Adsense PIN in Uganda

This is not going to be a step-by-step tutorial, because the above applies globally.

If you’re based in Uganda, it’s common that you will not get mail delivered to your doorstep. This, therefore, makes it tricky when you have to use a PIN to verify your account. The solution to this issue is by looking out for the nearest post office to the location you submitted to Adsense. It is most likely that they will deliver the PIN to a nearby post office location, for example, Poster Uganda for people living in Kampala.

That is how you receive your Adsense PIN in Uganda. This method may apply to other countries like Kenya, Nigeria, and Ghana where it’s uncommon to receive mails at home.
