Do you wake up to the boring standard alarm ringtones on your iPhone? Well, you can switch the default ringtones with your favorite song. From the Clock app on your iPhone, you can use songs from your Apple Music app as a sound to your alarm. If you looking forward to something that will motivate and inspire your morning choose to wake to the sound of music. This article explains how to set an alarm using Apple music on iPhone.

You will only be able to choose songs from your library. Therefore, before you can use a song from Apple Music as your alarm tone, you need to download it to your device. Otherwise, it won’t show up as a choice in the Clock app.

  1. Find your song in Apple Music using the Search function.
  2. Tap the + to the right of the song name to add it to your song library.
  3. Download the song to your iPhone by clicking on the cloud icon at the right of the song name.

Step 1: Open the Clock app on your iPhone.

Step 2: From the bottom menu bar, click on Alarm.

Step 3: Tap the plus (+) sign to set up a new alarm. Or, to edit an existing alarm, tap Edit in the upper-left corner, then select the alarm to add music.

Step 4: Click on Sound and under the Sound menu scroll down to the song section then tap on Pick a song.

Step 5: On the next page you will be required to select music. From your Library, choose the song you want to set as the alarm sound. Your personal Apple alarm clock only works with songs that are saved to your phone in the iPhone Music app.

Step 6: In the upper-left corner, select Back, then select Save in the upper-right corner.
