How you can Upgrade or Downgrade your Showmax Subscription Plan
Step 1: On your browser, go to Showmax.com and sign in with your login details.
Step 2: Select a profile.
Step 3: Click on the profile icon in the top right corner of the homepage.
Step 4: From the dropdown menu, select My Account.
Step 5: Click on Manage Subscription.
Step 6: Click on Choose your Subscription.
Step 7: Select the Subscription plan that you are interested in.
Step 8: Choose the payment method and enter payment details.
Step 9: Tap “Change Plan.”
Quick Note: Due to recent Google Android changes, you can no longer manage existing Showmax account signup from within the mobile app.
What Happens When you Switch Subscription Plans on Showmax
When you are upgrading your subscription plan from Showmax Mobile to Showmax, Showmax to Showmax Pro, Showmax Mobile to Showmax Pro Mobile, Showmax Pro Mobile to Showmax Pro, Showmax to Showmax Pro Mobile, Showmax Mobile to Showmax Pro, the action will be immediate once payment is approved. Any remaining days from your previous plan are converted into a credit voucher and stored in the Payment method section on the same page. Vouchers can automatically be redeemed when switching back to the previous plan.
However, when switching (downgrading your subscription plan) from Showmax to Showmax Mobile, Showmax Pro to Showmax, Showmax Pro to Showmax Pro Mobile, Showmax Pro Mobile to Showmax Mobile, Showmax Pro Mobile to Showmax, Showmax Pro to Showmax Mobile the action is not immediate. The current plan will remain in effect until the end of your existing monthly billing cycle. At this point, your new plan will start and your billing details will be debited for the respective new monthly price.
