The AirPlay feature enables users to stream or share content from Apple devices to the Apple TV, AirPlay 2-compatible smart TV, or Mac. This is the easiest way to stream a video, share your photos, or mirror exactly what’s on your device’s screen. Here is how you can turn on AirPlay on your iPhone.

1. In order for the Airplay to connect, both the iPhone and the AirPlay receiver must enable the AirPlay mode on their device.

2. Open the Control menu on your iPhone by swiping up from the bottom of the screen or home button.

3. Tap and hold the Music control area until the Music screen pops up.

4. Click on the AirPlay icon at the top right corner of the Music menu.

5. Select the device that you want to connect with via AirPlay.

6. Tap Done to complete the connection.

Note: For AirPlay to work, both devices have to be on the same Wi-Fi network, ethernet cable, or within Bluetooth range.

How to Mirror the iPhone Display

  2. Choose Screen Mirroring or AirPlay Mirroring.
  3. Select your Apple TV or any other compatible device.
  4. Enter the AirPlay passcode displayed on your TV into your iPhone.
