Translating the Conversation with Google Translate

To get started with Google translate, follow the procedures below:-

1. Download and install the Google Translate app on your Android or IOS device.

2. Launch the Google Translate app on your device after the successful download.

3. Select the languages you want to translate from at the bottom of the page.

4. Click on Conversation and allow the app to access the microphone.

5. Then start speaking as Google translates the conversation for you. Tap the microphone button at the bottom and start talking as google translate translates.

  • To translate anything said in either language into the other language: Tap Auto.
  • To stop or start translation in one language: Tap Speak.
  • To hear a translation again: Tap the top text box.
  • To continue your conversation: Tap Auto.

6. If you are done with the conversation, tap the back icon to stop translation.

Note: Google Translate works both with active and inactive internet connections.
