NOTE: This is only possible on the Desktop version of the Facebook application OR on your phone when you use a browser, NOT the Facebook phone application.

ON THE DESKTOP

How to suggest friends on Facebook Desktop

1. Open any browser on your PC
2. Open facebook.com, sign into your profile with your Email/Phone and password
3. Search for the Facebook friend who you want to suggest
4. On their profile, there is a “Friends” button (on the right side of their cover image)
5. Click on the “Friends” button, and you will be given a list of options
6. From those options, click on the “Suggest Friends” option. (If you don’t find this option, then your friend’s privacy settings don’t accept the friend suggestion option)
7. A list of all your friends shall be displayed and the “Suggest Friend” button on each one. (You can click on the Friends button at the top of the list to help you sort your friend’s list by “Family” or “Close Friends”)
8. Search for a particular name, or just scroll through, and click on the Suggest Friend option across it. (The two friends shall both receive invitations to add one another as friends)

On Any Internet Browser On Your Phone

Step by Step procedure to suggest friends on Facebook Phone

1. Open any browser on your phone.
